I am not sure if you have come across this while you were setting up your web directory. However if you have made any changes or modifications to your phpld (phplinkdirectory) and in the process modified file permissions of /include/config.php chances are you may get a warning as shown below, if you didn’t revert the settings, or if you have made a fresh install and didn’t change default file permissions:

Well if you see this warning message or alert, don’t worry, fixing this message and getting rid of it from your phpld admin control panel is relatively very very easy!

Use your favourite ftp program – such as Wsftp or Filezilla or any other that you are familiar with, connect to your web directory, browse to the location /include and look for the file named config.php. The correct file permission for config.php should be 444. Select and right click on the file, choose attributes and click to check Read option for owner, group, public and remove Write and Execute permissions from the rest. You can achieve the same results by telnet and chmod the file to 444, or using cPanel or any other option as provided by your web host to manage and maintain your website content.
